Privacy Policy: Zero Audio Uploads
Studio LOOS does not, and will never, upload your audio files to any server. When you load an audio file into our Audio Cutter, Vocal Remover, Voice Changer, Speed Changer, Volume Booster, Audio Reverser, or Audio Joiner, the file is read directly from your local hard drive into your browser's RAM via the JavaScript FileReader API and decoded locally by the browser's AudioContext.
1. How Your Audio Is Handled
Unlike commercial cloud conversion websites that transmit your MP3 or WAV files over the internet to remote servers, all digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms on studioloos.com execute locally on your device's CPU. The rendered output is synthesized directly in browser memory via OfflineAudioContext and converted into a downloadable 16-bit PCM WAV Blob. No audio data ever leaves your device.
2. Analytics & Cookies
Studio LOOS does not track individual user identities. We may utilize standard, privacy-respecting aggregate web analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to monitor server health, bandwidth, and page load performance. These tools do not record personal information or audio usage telemetry.
3. Advertising Compliance
To support the hosting and maintenance of our free open-access audio laboratory, this website displays contextual advertising served through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this website. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
4. GDPR & CCPA Compliance
Because Studio LOOS never collects, stores, or processes personal audio recordings on our servers, we operate in full compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
